You’ll spend a lot of time working on projects in your business life. When you’re a member of the project team, it’s your responsibility to help the team succeed. When you’re the project team leader your twin challenges are to accomplish the mission and help the team members grow and develop as a result of working on the team.

Leading a project is different than your usual work. There is usually a specific objective and often a deadline. The project divides into the work that team members do as a group (usually meetings) and the work they do on their own or in sub-groups. The challenge is to keep everyone informed and project work moving forward.
