Here’s a list of the members of the Intentional Reading Panel. I chose them because I think they can share practices and insights that will help you get more from the books you read. I used the following criteria.

They are avid and intentional readers
They read business books
They were willing to share their “secrets”

Kevin Eikenberry

Kevin Eikenberry is a recognized world expert on leadership development and learning and is the Chief Potential Officer of The Kevin Eikenberry Group. He has spent more than 25 years helping organizations across North America, and leaders from around the world, on leadership, learning, teams and teamwork, communication and more.  He was named by Inc.com as one of the top 100 Leadership and Management Experts in the World, and has been included in many other lists. He is the author, co-author or a contributing author to nearly 20 books, including Remarkable Leadership and the bestselling From Bud to Boss – Secrets of the Successful Transition to Remarkable Leadership. His next book, co-authored with Wayne Turmel, The Long-Distance Leader: Rules for Remarkable Remote Leadership, is due in April 2018.  His blog is consistently ranked among the world’s best and most read on leadership.

Mike Figliuolo

Mike Figliuolo is an honor graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He served in the U.S. Army as an armor officer. Mike’s time in corporate America includes work as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and as an executive at Capital One and Scotts Miracle-Gro. He’s the founder and managing director of thoughtLEADERS, LLC, where he and his team train senior executives at leading companies in critical business skills. Mike is the author of three books ­ One Piece of Paper: The Simple Approach to Powerful, Personal Leadership, Lead Inside the Box: How Smart Leaders Guide Their Teams to Exceptional Results and The Elegant Pitch: Create a Compelling Recommendation, Build Broad Support, and Get It Approved.

Stephen Lynch

Stephen Lynch may have the most interesting bio. He’s been a police officer, a body builder (Mr. New Zealand 1993), a pharmaceutical sales and marketing manager, a nightclub DJ, and a software entrepreneur before joining RESULTS.com over a decade ago. Today Stephen is Head of Strategy & Consulting for RESULTS.com. He is also the author of Business Execution for Results.

Terry Moore

Terry Moore, CCIM, has been one of the most successful commercial real estate agents in San Diego for more than twenty years. His rate for closing investment real estate listings is more than twice the market average. He has received many awards and published more than sixty articles on investment, leadership and legacy topics in local, state, and national journals. Terry runs triathlons to keep in shape and is finishing his first book. He is flawed and committed follower of Jesus.

Art Petty

Art Petty has led teams successfully at Panasonic, Pittway (now Honeywell) and Firstlogic (now part of SAP). He coaches teams and high potential professionals, consults on strategy, speaks on leadership, management and leveling-up, writes prolifically on all things business and teaches the next generation of leaders. Art has written three books including Leadership Caffeine and Practical Lessons in Leadership. He also says, “By my own count, I have another six book ideas in me.”

Tanmay Vora

Tanmay Vora is Country Head and Director (R&D) for Basware’s India operations. He has written two books on quality leadership and has contributed in several other eBooks and books including a full chapter in The ASTD Management Development Handbook (ASTD Press, 2012). He says that he thinks a lot about “raising the bar for leadership, learning and quality in an ever­changing world of work.” Tanmay creates Sketchnotes to illustrate the key points in his writing. He is ranked among top 5 Indian HR Influencers on Social Media by SHRM India since 2012.
