Boss’s Tip of the Week: The Why Rules

If you’ve been around a four-year-old, you know that they ask, “Why?” all the time. You’ll be a better boss if you follow their example (at least a little).

Ask “Why?” when someone says, “I thought” or “I had to.”

Ask “Why do we do it this way?”

Ask “Why did that person act that way?”

Ask “Why?” often.

Ask “Why?” more than once to get to the heart of the matter.
