Boss’s Tip of the Week: Learn from Bad Examples

Even bad examples can be good for you, but it won’t happen by accident. To get the most positive learning from a bad example, write down the following.

Write down what the person did. Be descriptive. Eliminate judgment words.

Write down the logical result of what they did. Be specific.

Write down the emotional result of what they did. How did you or someone else feel?

Write down how you would do it differently.
