Anyone can talk a good game. The proof is in the behavior and the performance.

Pay more attention to how your team members act than to what they say to find out what’s important to them. Pay more attention to how they perform so you don’t get misled by empty promises. Identify the people whose actions and words match up. They’re likely to be the ones you can count on.

Oh yes, one more thing. Make sure that what you say and what you do send the same message.
