One key to having conversations with your team members is listening more than you talk. You can do that easily if you use two key facts about human nature. We all like to talk. And we all have at least one thing we love to talk about.
I call that the “Push-to-Talk” switch. Listen for clues to what it is for each of your team members. Then, when you want to keep the conversation moving, ask about it. Then listen.
