Sure, the world is moving fast and, yes, you must be quick to thrive in business today. And it’s true that you should have a bias toward action and avoid “paralysis by analysis.” BUT that doesn’t mean you have to make every decision quickly or solve every problem lickety-split.

Ask, “When do we need to decide?” Then, if you have time and if you need more time to gather information or sharpen your analysis, take it.

If you have the time and you need the time, take the time.
