What I’m Reading Now: Wooden on Leadership

  |   Books Print Friendly and PDF

I rarely read, and never review, books by athletic coaches. That is until now.

Sports coaches have something to say about things like motivation and success in general. But most of them don’t have much to say to full-grown adults about business. There are exceptions, but very few.

That’s why I was impressed when Kevin Kruse referred to Wooden on Leadership in his excellent book, Great Leaders Have No Rules. Michael Wade called Wooden on Leadership a great leadership book. He put it right up there with Peter Drucker’s Effective Executive. Ken Downer praises the book. That’s enough for me.

Now I’m reading Wooden on Leadership: How to Create A Winning Organization. Have you read it? What did you think of it?
