Boss’s Tip of the Week: Study leaders

  |   Leaders and Strategies in Real Life Print Friendly and PDF

There are two ways to study leadership. You can read books and articles about leadership. Or you can observe leaders and read books and articles about leaders.

Learning from actual leaders, especially ones you can question, should be a big part of your learning. Leadership is situational and you can assess the situation and imagine how you would deal with it. Leadership is personal. You can assess the person and analyze your similarities and differences.

Both sources will give you ideas about what to try when the concepts turn into practice.

This is only one of 347 tips in my ebook, Become a Better Boss One Tip at a Time.

To help you analyze leaders in their natural habitat, I publish a blog post ever week titled, “Leaders and Strategies in Real Life.”
