Getting the Most from Good to GreatGood to Great by Jim Collins is one of the most significant business books ever written. It's still on the New York Times non-fiction best seller list, even though it was published in 2001. The book has remained popular because it gives people insight into their business and how to change it and because it's extremely well-written. Many consultants, like me, use the book and the findings of Collins' work to help achieve improved results for our clients. This web site will help you get more out of the book by pointing you to resources of all kinds. Buy the Book You can buy Good to Great at Amazon.com or at almost any bookstore that carries business books.
If you want to see a summary of the book before you buy, or if you'd like a resource to help review the books main ideas, there are two places you can go. There's a summary available at MBADepot. There's a more comprehensive summary by visiting BizSummaries, selecting the free trial option and then selecting the option for two day access to the membership site. This will also give you the opportunity to sample their book summary service.
I've posted a review of Good to Great on my Three Star Leadership site. You can find other folks' reviews on Amazon, where you can also buy the book.
The Good to Great WebsiteJim Collins has developed a great support web site for his book. Visit it to find discussion guides, exercises, and information to help you get the most from Good to Great.
